This book is based on a unique blend of Chinese, French and 'New American' cuisines. The writer describes his approach to food as an unforced, natural blending of ingredients and techniques borrowed mainly from those countries with dashes of Japan, Mexico and Italy, for added spice.

Ken's test of success is deliciousness and all recipes in this book meet that test beautifully and best of all, most are simple, quick and require no special equipment.

Sections are titled: Introduction; Glossary of East-West Terms; How To Use This Book; A Note on Wine Suggestions; The Recipes: Stocks and Sauces; Starters and Salads; Soups; Fish and Shellfish; Poultry; Meats; Vegetables; Pasta, Noodles and Rice; Desserts; East-West Menus.

There are some beautiful colour pics.

There is a gift inscription on the titled page. The dustcover is just a little rubbed and has a small tear at the base of the spine. There is some slight shelf wear on the hardcover edges, otherwise this book is in excellent condition.

There are 245 pages and it measures 19cm x 25cm.
