HERE IS A SET OF 4 APPETIZER FORKS BY KIRK AND MATZ, WITH GENUINE PEARL HANDLES.  THEY ARE STILL IN THEIR ORIGINAL CASE AND IS MARKED KIRK AND MATZ-  SHEFFIELD.  EACH KNIFE IS 4 1/4" LONG.  THE TINES ARE MARKED STAINLESS STEEL.  A DEALER LOOKED AT THEM AND SAID THE BAND CONNECTING THE MOTHER OF PEARL AND THE TINES MAY BE STERLING SILVER.  HE WAS NOT SURE.  THE CASE IS STAMPED-"CASE MADE IN ENGLAND"  ON THE BACK.  THE CASE MEASURES 6 1/4"  X 3 3/4".  THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN USED TO MY KNOWLEDGE BUT HAVE REMAINED STORED AWAY FOR MANY YEARS.  THE ONLY IMPERFECTION IS TWO SMALL HOLES IN THE OUTER GRAIN OF THE CASE.  THE CASE STAYS CLOSED BY THE TWO ORNATE HINGES AS SHOWN.
