THIS STUNNING VASE FROM THE FAMED RAINBOW SERIES BY BERTIL VALLIEN IS SURFACE- FIRED OPAQUE WHITE ENAMEL DECORATED WITH COLOURED ENAMEL STRANDS. THE VASE IS ENGRAVED 'KOSTA BODA, B. VALLIEN. 58285' AND ALSO FEATURES THE KOSTA BODA LABEL.
THE RAINBOW SERIES WAS CREATED IN 1982/83 BY VALLIEN WHILST HE WAS AT KOSTA BODA. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION REFER TO 'SMOKE AND ICE' BOOK PAGE 64.
THE VASE IS 11.5 CM (4.1/2 INCHES) HIGH AND 13.5 CM (5.1/2 INCHES) IN DIAMETER.
THE VASE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION EXCEPT FOR ONE TINY CHIP ON THE RIM, WHICH IS BARELY NOTICEABLE. THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR FLEA BITES.
