Simply stunning "Kagan/Noguchi Style" Coffee Table from Dan Moderne in Brisbane. Dubbed by one of the customers as the "F18" (comparing it to the famous modern fighter plane) this table is very sculptural, ultra stylish and something that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere. Just check out your vintage boutique shops, even eBay, where a whole swag of coffee tables are for sale. Most are just plain boring and the majority are either squares, rectangles or circles. Indeed very few are truly retro/organic, which we feel, were some of the most beautiful shapes`ever constructed. The "Noguchi Table" and the thousands of replicas it has spawned is still a wonderful table but getting too common now. We've never seen this design before and it's a wonder why nobody locally has thought about it, till now. Thank goodness for good design.

The body of this coffee table is a beautifully constructed piece of solid Teak 100%. The glass top is what you might term a very sleek version of a "kidney". Together, they look almost aerodynamic, as if it is an alien spacecraft, hence it's nickname "F18". This is the special one you've been waiting for. This would really suit a contemporary home or Danish/Retro setting with a larger area. Certainly one of the most stylish example of Mid-Century/Vintage design that will stand the test of time.

Condition is new so there are no issues regarding bumps, bruises or defects. The timber frame is excellently crafted & "solid as". Why spend money on furniture (up to $1000+ on current plastic/glass/metal models) that would be worth less in just a few years when you can invest in quality upcoming Antiques like this item! Definitely an eBay bargain price - just check out Freedom Furniture & Harvey Norman or even a boutique vintage store, it's a real eye opener on what you get for your $$$!
