WM48010 - Kawasaki Ki-10 PERRY - 1:48 - Wings Models
This item is a new, unassembled, 1/48 scale vacuform model of Japan's last classic biplane fighter aircraft, the Kawasaki Ki-10 "PERRY". Built in 1935, the Ki-10 was superior to the Hawker "Fury" of the RAF and the P-26 of the US - it possessed superior maneuverability and supreme dog-fighting agility. The Ki-10 was used extensively in China and Manchuria where it was the gun-platform of many Japanese Aces. By the time of WW2, the Ki-10 was relegated to training and courier roles. Of the 588 "Perrys" built, none are known to have survived. Top speed of the Ki-10 was 248 mph; wing-span was 32'-10.5" and the length was 24'-09.25". This kit includes 30 plastic parts, 1 clear plastic windscreen part, excellent plans and detail photos/drawings, decals for Captain Tateo Kato's plane in China in 1937, injection-molded strut material and vacuformed detail parts. This is the only kit currently available for the Ki-10 "Perry" in 1/48 scale.

Eagles Talon kits are comparable in quality to those produced by Wings Models - cavity-molded vacuform styrene plastic with engraved panel lines and surface details, detailed plans and historical notes, and with most kits high-quality decals and cast metal/resin detail parts.
