From the book ~~

This book offers a series of projects which encourage the learner by giving him `something to show' for his efforts right from the start. New techniques (some of them developed by the author to an unusual extent) are gradually introduced in a logical sequence, and the more advanced or gifted pupil is given plenty of opportunity to develop his abilities. (Details of objects to be made and processes involved can be seen in the List of Contents.) Verbal instructions are amply supplemented by clear, well-planned diagrams, and the standard of design is high. The lively and accomplished work in the photographs all done by secondary schoolboys, speaks for itself.

It is assumed that the student will already know the basic processes of metalwork including the names and functions of the most commonly used tools. Given this basis of knowledge, the book is suitable for school classes or for the older beginner who finds in craft enamelling a satisfying hobby. Contents include:
