Kenwood KRF-V999D Reciever, with touchscreen remote & Harman Kardon DVD Player
This monster pumps out a mega 130W per channel, enough power to fry any high end speaker set. When released, this unit retailed at approximately $3500. The unit is absolutely beautiful, finished with solid Rosewood timber sides, it's a work of art. All the connectors are gold plated and audio terminals are the screw variety. I am downsizing due to simple fact that you can't listen to it low, and the baby sleeps directly upstairs!! I currently run Supra cabling (more capable than Monster) and still barely hit halfway. This unit was ahead of its time, and still has many more years of service to give.
It's a shame to see it go, but trust me, it will not disappoint!
The remote is also impressive, with learn functions, you can programme in an array of other remote controls so that only one remote can be used for all components. At this price, it still outperforms other newer recievers in the marketplace, and supports all current audio formats Dolby Surround Pro-Logic, Dolby Digital, DTS, DVD Audio. You can run two sets of speaker playing two different types of music.

Also included is a Harman Kardon DVD47 player. At over $600, this was a true "top end" upscaling DVD player (essentially making ordinary DVD's look better), with DTS capability. Supporting DivX and MPEG you can also watch other formats as well. To make life less of a hassle, if you buy it now I will also include all the cables needed to connect the DVD player to the reciever. These custom made cables are all gold plated and cost about $500 to fabricate.
There's no better deal than this, a potent reciever, and "top end" DVD player and cabling. It's a bargain!! All items come with the instruction manuals and are truely in excellent condition.
