Ketostix™ are reagent strips for the detection of ketones in urine, and are used to monitor fat metabolism in those following a low carbohydrate (ketogenic) diet.
Ketones are generated by the metabolism of fat as an energy source. Ketones will be released into the blood and urine ("ketogenesis") when carbohydrates are reduced.
When a ketogenic diet is followed correctly, urinary ketones are produced - registering in the ‘small to moderate’ range on the Ketostix™ colour scale. By staying "in the pink", you know you are burning fat, which is a great motivational factor.
Delivery Information... We have a flat rate of ONLY $4.95 per order, regardless if you order 1 or 100 items from our store! Purchasing several items at one time saves tremendously on shipping charges so don't forget to view other items in our range to combine your order and save on shipping costs. Postage is by Australia Post or Courier and takes 2-4 working days once payment has been received. Orders are for within Australia only. It is recommended that you provide a work address or a PO Box for delivery if no one will be home to receive your order during business hours. If you are not at the specified delivery address to receive your parcel, a card will be left so you can pick it up from your closest Post Office.
