Here's a rare film! Original 16mm Silent B&W film of King George V Silver Jubilee 1910-1935. This film was issued in 1935 and is part 1 & 2. Part 1 has full start credits but reel 2 has no end credits as there were possibly more reels? or it is just missing. The film is in excellent order, very clear and no vinegar syndrome. I have kept them in cool dry storage for the 15 years i have had them along with my other 35mm films. The film shows the King, Queen and other members of the royal family including the current Queen Elizabeth as a toddler on the second reel. The film shows the King visiting WW1 Troops on a ship, the battlefield in Somme, France (you should see the mess!), Wimbledon Tennis Final, Ashes Cricket players, and much more. The film is mounted on Kodascope 400ft alluminium reels and both come in original nickel plated brass cans complete with original labels. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this film.
