Structural Insulated Panel (SIP)

The concept of Structural Insulated Panels is not new. Beginning in the USA in the 40’s and originally using paper fiber as the core material, many fine houses were constructed and are still providing good service today. With the development of permanent structural foam core and modern adhesives, today's SIP provides great strength and excellent thermal properties combined with ultra flat, accurate level surfaces inside and out. The external and internal cladding material is available in a full range of finishes. This ensures your Quick Build Modular Construction home will be anything but ordinary.

However, the real benefit for SIP comes alive when it is used in conjunction with our Australian designed Beams Frames and Trusses. Lightweight and exceptionally strong they provide a fully sealed, weatherproof wall and roof home that is simply unsurpassed for strength, durability, fit and finish.

Because the constructional strength in qbModCon homes is all in the outer shell walls and roof, you have absolute freedom to design your own internal walls and layout in any way you desire. Spacious open plan or maximum utilization of the floor space, it is entirely up to you.

Manufacturing standards

Each qbModCon house is custom manufactured on our production line then your home is carefully packed for safe shipment. Our factory works like a car assembly plant. This means quality and consistency in all our homes.

Termite proof

All qbModCon homes use powder coated steel piers and frames with structural aluminum frames and are virtually termite proof.
