Five Species of Eucalypt

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

Koalas have a diet of specific Eucalypt leaves and may utilise other trees for safety (sleeping) but will ignore them as a food source. To further complicate their requirements, they will ignore trees in one area that are used in another as a food source.

This collection of tree seeds is of  five trees known to be on their diet. They are easy to cultivate and generally have a range equal to that of koala habitat. The trees included in this koala food collection are -

Eucalyptus teretecornis - Forest Red Gum (major food source)

Eucalyptus  pilularis - Blackbutt

Eucalyptus camaldulensis - River Red Gum

Eucalyptus nicholii - Small Leaved Peppermint

Eucalyptus populnea - Poplar Box

Eucalyptus resinifera - Scribbly Gum

Eucalyptus obliqua - Messmate

Eucalyptus ovata - Swamp Gum

Eucalyptus pauciflora - Snow Gum

Eucalyptus moluccana - Gum Topped Box

Eucalyptus crebra - Narrow Leaved Ironbark

Eucalyptus microcorys - Tallowwood

(Depending on the buyer's location, it will be necessary to make substitutions. i.e. Victorian and South Australian buyers will get Eucalyptus obliqua in lieu of Eucalyptus moluccana because generally that tree will not grow in Victoria/SA.)

Offered  are individual packets of 250 seeds of each of the above trees (1200 + seeds) and Grownotes to assist you to successfully propagate these easily grown trees.

All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.

AUSTRALIAN BUYERS. A flat postage rate of $1.20 applies, regardless of the number of purchases made, provided they are on a combined invoice. To reduce ever growing Paypal seller fees, payment by direct deposit is preferred.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS. Airmail postage is a flat rate of $2.30, regardless of the number of purchases, provided purchases are on a combined invoice.  A Certificate of Origin is provided free of charge. Payment via Paypal please. I do not accept international money orders.
