Kodak's newest colour Super 8 film (which replaces the recently discontinued Kodachrome 40) offers the classic Cine look with saturated colours that many people associate with 'home movies' from the 60's & 70's. Perfect either for amateur or professional use, Ektachrome 64T develops to a positive print, ready for projection. It is suitable for use in bright, sunny conditions, or indoors with the use of ample tungsten lighting - ordinary household lighting will almost certainly NOT be sufficient. The Ektachrome 64T in this listing is supplied without processing included. There are a number of companies in Australia that will process this film for a fee, details available on request.

There is a lot of confusion out there amongst the general public - many people seem to think that Super 8 film is no longer manufactured. The facts are that Kodak currently produce 5 different Super 8 filmstocks, a wider range than they ever have in the past! We buy our Super 8 stock directly from them several times a week in small batches, and keep it in a film fridge until we send it out to you, so you can rest assured that our stock is always fresh. The film is supplied in a standard 50ft/15m cartridge. Film speed is 64ASA Tungsten, 40ASA Daylight. It will last approx 3 1/3rd mins if shot at 18fps (the standard speed).
