The wonderful Anne that we fell in love with in ‘Anne of Green Gables’ continues her journey in these books:

Anne Of The Island – Follow Anne Shirley as she leaves Green Gables and enters into college life. 

A school teacher and a Presbyterian minister’s wife, L.M. Montgomery drew on her own girlhood experiences and memories on Prince Edward’s Island to create the Avonlea books.

Anne’s House Of Dreams – The first year of her marriage is a magic one for anne.  Her new life at Four Winds Harbour brings with it many new friends – like the delightful Captain Jim, man-hating Miss Cornelia and beautiful Leslie Moore with her tragic past.  It also brings a host of new experiences, some sweet, some sad, as Anne explores her new roles of doctor’s wife, mother and queen of her little house of dreams

Anne Of Ingleside – Several years have passed since Anne left her little house of dreams to become the mistress of Ingleside.  In those years she has matured, but the harum-scarum of earlier days has not disappeared altogether.  Here we see Anne try her hand at matchmaking, deal with the ghastly Aunt Mary Maria, laugh and cry over the escapades of her family, and even succumb to an occasional touch of “spring madness”.  Things are never dull at Ingleside – Anne and her six children, each with a talent for mischief, make sure of that.
