We offer for auction here a good pair of Victorian silver sugar tongs in the fiddle pattern. They has the initials "EM" over "JM" enngraved to the bow.

Maker’s Mark: unknown, possibly John James Whiting

Weight: 55g/ 1.94oz/ 1.76 troy oz

CONDITION:

Generally:

Good used condition. No splits or repair and no serious dints. Good tips and rims to the bowls. The expected surface scratches in keeping with age and use.

Visible faults/flaws:

A little distortion to one of the arms, which makes the bows meet unevenly when closed.
