This superb print of Bob Marley is taken from the original oil painting and comes direct from the studio of  Malcolm Horton, who painted the original in 1983.

"This portrait was created back in 1983 as a tribute to Bob Marley, his spirit and his gift to the world through his music. A vision of Bob Marley set against a sunset with his guitar and the lion of Judah." M. Horton.

Excellent detail and superb colour.

Print sizes are approx 25cms.x18cms( A4 ) on 250g high quality gloss card

 and will fit directly into an  A4 certificate frame.

Prints will be posted in a hardbacked A4 envelope for extra protection

About the artist

Malcolm Horton was born in Birmingham on 7th April 1949. After he left school, he worked in a commercial art studio until the age of 18. This was followed by three years with an exhibition and display company before he ended up as a full-time professional freelance artist.

  •  He has had extensive involvement with various rock bands such as Black Sabbath, with whom he travelled for several years in America and Europe. As a consequence, he has received a number of commissions from rock and pop stars.
  • His work is represented in the private collections of Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath), Alvin Lee (Ten Years After), Ian Pace (Whitesnake) and George Harrison (The Beatles) amongst many others. His painting entitled 'The Rainbow & The Rubicon' was sold as a poster by Greenpeace in 1988.
  • In the seventies Malcolm moved to Exmouth on the beautiful Devon coast where he has lived ever since. His fascination with the sea goes back to his childhood.
