This genuine Sony lens hood sells for over $350 as a spare part here in Australia. The hood is metal so it is very easy to chip the paint, look closely at the picture and you will see a few chips. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the use of the hood at all. Physically the hood is perfect, just a few small chips of paint missing. The fabric like interior of the hood is as new. So here is your chance to get another hood at much less than retail price, or use this one and keep your original in pristine condition. Once again this is for the Zeiss 24-70 CZ and will fit no other lens that I am aware of.
