This is an internal slimline DVD-ROM drive fitted to a white external USB enclosure - It does not burn DVDs.

You will need 2 free USB ports.You can also fit this to most laptop/notebook caddies

It was made by Hitachi-LG according to the label.

Rom Version is 0106

This rare drive has similar capabilities to the GDR 8161, 8162, 8163, 8164 series of internal desktop drives.
I have tested it with software used with these drives, and it performed well. I will include some instructions if required.

The condition is excellent and comes with generic black front bezel attached (as per photo).
