LG V271 DVD/VCR COMBO - NOT WORKING PROPERLY

THIS DVD/VCR PLAYER HAS POWER TO IT, BUT WHEN TURNED ON THERE IS A FUNNY NOISE ON THE VCR SIDE OF THE UNIT.  I AM NOT SURE IF IT CAN BE FIXED OR MAYBE USED FOR SPARE PARTS.  IT DOES NOT HAVE A REMOTE OF AN INSTRUCTION BOOK BUT DOES COME IN ORIGINAL BOX.  SO IF YOU THINK THIS CAN BE FIXED OR USED FOR SPARE PARTS, THEN GRAB YOURSELF A BARGAIN TODAY.
