Manney is a distinguished New York Artist and perhaps the dean of living aritst as she is now 93. She is a Graduate of Parsons School of Design, New York Univeristy, and the Brooklyn Museum Art School.
Manney studied with Moses Soyer, Reuben Tam, and Hans Hoffmen. She was the Chairperson of the Art Department at Clara Barton Vocational High School, New York City. Manney also served as President of New Paltz Art Association (10 years). This distinguished artist has exhibited at many New York and East Coast galleries and her work has sold at fine New England Auction Houses.
The present works were part of Manney's personal collection. She is now 93 but still enjoys art.
