LILLIPUT LANE   "Happy 21st Birthday"  ...  Mint in Box, deeds  ...  LARGE

 

This larger, wonderful and hard to get piece is HAPPY BIRTHDAY (# L 2587) and it was introduced as the Collectors Club Special Edition  - Exclusive for 2003 and features many favourites in celebration of Lilliput Lane's 21st year. The welcome scroll, Dovecote and everyone's favourite Little Lost Dog all feature on the lovely birthday piece ... and what could be a more appropriate choice of subject than Honeysuckle Cottage - from the home of Lilliput Lane itself ?

 

With its oak framing on a sandstone plinth, brick nogging infill, oak weather boarding and pretty latticed windows - topped by a roof of long straw thatch, Honeysuckle Cottage is a magnificent example of vernacular architecture of South-east England.

The cottage does not come with the wooden display plinth in the photo.

 

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY comes from Skirgill, Penrith in Cumbria

 

Comes in MINT condition with deed in its box
