This one has a very rare misprinted eBay Logo!

  • Condition: Good.  The plastic cover of the box has some slight indentations and some scuff markings.  The box coloring has some bubbling effects on the top and on the side there are some scuff marks. (like front right under the "Quality Made in Italy").
  • Limited Edition: Only 100 of these were ever made.  eBay creator Pierre Omidyar has one of them.
  • LOGO MISPRINT:  In the eBay logo on top of this car, the yellow "a" is a light green color rather than yellow.  This is a very rare item within a limited edition set!
  • What's the story?: These special edition limited edition model cars were made by the eBay Germany team in 2001 intended for eBay employees. I worked as part of the eBay Germany team in 2001 and was fortunate to snap up this last one (Which was very special since it had this eBay logo color misprint!  This misprinted eBay logo makes this one even MORE valuable and collectible than the other 99 !!)
  • Created by: The sticker on top of the box says (roughly translated from German) "This model is a special edition model from the company W. Detert Airbrushdesign on a BBurago base.  This is not an official BBurago model car. http://www.detert.de"
  • Age: Created in 2001
