This is the best thing I ever bought to improve my golf game, i have played most of my golfing career off a handicap of 3 and 4, i have owned this unit for almost 12 months, i have taken my handicap from almost out to 5 and now I am pushing 1. In the last year I have played that great and the consitancy in my game is improving out of sight. Purely becuase I never ever had time to practice putting etc, I work come home its dark, I spend the odd 1/2 hour on this thing and the improvement is awesome, You can just work on a rythem and just try to repeat this out on the course. I am currently the club champion at my local course (my first one). If Only I had of found this unit before maybe instead of a heap of my mates making a living from golf around the world, i might also be doing the same, its simply outstanding, it putts like real, you can set it up to putt down hill, up hill, left to right, right to left, double breakers, its amazing. You cannot buy these any more, when I found out about them, the company who was based in England had gone broke, apparently they  launched to hard in USA and went under. But I was searching the world trying to find one and contacted Harold Swash (yes Padraig Harringtons putting coach) who was linked to these units. His office told me they went broke and he put me onto Geoff Magnum whom is putting coach to numerous PGA and LPGA Tour pros to try and find one. He inturn put me onto a Pro in switerland whom he knew had a unit and may want to sell it. I bought it from him and then airfreighted it out to Melbourne, Based on the info above, its the best money I spent to improve my golf.  The only reason I am now selling this unit is I have moved into a new house, which needed gardens re done and I have just spent about 5k on work with bobcat, drainage, sand etc, and have laid instand turf on what is going to become my new pencross bentgrass putting green in my backyard. So although this unit is being reluctantly sold to cover some of the costs of my green (im only recovering what I paid for the unit) I will have somewhere where I can continue to practice my putting and now chipping in my backyard in the not to distant future. LinksPutt The WORLDS' ONLY practice putting greens of their kind! No other indoor putting greens allow you the facility to practice contoured putts from 1 metre to 4 metres, whilst standing on the same slope as the putt itself!

Conventional practice putting mats and indoor putting greens cannot replicate all of the contours found on real golf course greens, however LinksPutt can to allow you the most realistic of practice conditions to build your confidence and lower your scores!

The contourable LinksPutt indoor putting green can be assembled in minutes - no screws or fastenings of any kind. Up/downhill, left/right/double breaks, valleys or swales - LinksPutt can replicate them all. Set the movable stance board to match the contours - "feel" the slope of the green beneath your feet.

LinksPutt is from Scotland. It has three base panels that are made of polypropylene material. They connect together easily and securely and form the base or foundation of the putting green. The polypropylene turf used for the putting surface is easily rolled out to fit over the base panels. You just roll it out and place it directly over the putting green foundation.

Two holes are pre-cut into the end base panel and also the turf. You just match the holes on the turf over the holes on the foundation and your ready to putt.

There are pieces that easily slide over the back and sides of the turf to keep your golf ball from rolling off the surface.

A feature of the LinksPutt system is the "stance board." This is a well made piece that goes to the side of the green (on either side you choose) with its own turf on top. You stand on this while putting. This keeps you off the panels or putting surface but allows you to be even with the surface while putting. It is moveable, so you can practice putts of different lengths.

The turfs roll according to the manufacturer says that it rolls about 9.5 on the stimp meter; which means you need to put a little something on the putt from the flat position; but when you start playing with the accessories you can use to control break and speed. You can get a good bit more speed than that.

These "risers" that allow you to control break and speed, can be placed in different places under and around the putting foundation. You can raise the back of the green, the sides, you can basically put a break anywhere you want.

This putting green is very easy to putt together and manipulate. It is also very portable and light. If you want to putt outside or in another room. It is a snap to place the risers where you need to for practicing left to right, right to left, uphill or downhill putts.
