YOUNG CUCKOO an ink drawing by Guliema Lister 1908. Signed with initiales, dated 12.6.08 and titled by the artist. Has a sheet size of 7 X 4 1/2. In very good condition having never been framed - there is a small nick in the lower right hand corner of the right margin. On buff colored thin tissue paper.

Lister was a daughter of the well know watercolorist Edith Lister. She had two other sisters that were also distinguished artist Isabella and Fanny Lister. The three sisters all lived at 871 High Road in Leyton - London England in the early 1900s. She is noted for her atmospheric landscapes.
