The boots have an added heel and toe lining for support and strength, as well as a removable inner sole for easy washing. Featuring three gold eyelets for lacing up, the boots look great folded over or just left as they are.

Perfect for wearing outdoors or even just inside the house. The sole provides a soft cushioning effect and adds to the comfort of the boots. They feel so nice on, you will never want to take them off.

About Ugg boots in Australia

**These are not Deckers UGG Australia boots. Please read below**

The Ugg Boot or just Uggs is a generic term for a style of sheepskin boot which has been produced in Australia and New Zealand for over 100 years. Originally they were called “Ug or Ugh Boots” which is short for “Ugly”. They were traditionally worn by shearers working in the wool industry, to keep their feet warm. During World War 1, Australian pilots and navigators in open-cockpit aeroplanes found the boots useful on cold mornings. Later, in the 1960’s the boots became popular with young Australian surfers and the Ugg boot trend began to grow.

In the 1970s an American surfer began importing the boots to the USA. It was this American surfer who created the brand UGG Australia and went on to sell the company to Deckers Corporation in 1995. The popularity of the boots began to sky rocket as people soon realized the benefits and comfort of the Auzzie made boots.

Deckers Corporation then trademarked the term UGG and threatened legal action against all Australian manufacturers referring to their boots as Uggs- despite having done so for decades. However, after a length legal battle, in 2006, one Australian company were able to have the Deckers Outdoor Corporations Australian Trademark for Ugh-boot removed from the Australian Trademarks Registry. This resulted in the decision that the words “Ug Boots”, “Ugg Boots” and “Ugh Boots” could be interchangeable and were a generic term for “Sheepskin Boots”.

As all manufactures have different size specifications this is vital and saves disapointment if the boots don't fit. Ask someone to trace around both of your barefeet while standing on a blank piece of paper. If you intend to wear socks with your boots, make sure you have them on while doing this. Measure BOTH feet, as often 1 is bigger than the other. Please send us the biggest measurement.
