*Capable of receiving at up to 56 Kbps and sending at up to 48 Kbps (or 31.2 Kbps with V.90 server). Due to FCC regulations, receiving speeds are limited to 53 Kbps. Actual speeds may vary. V.92 and V.90 features require compatible phone line and support from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). USRobotics modems featuring V.92 enhancements are backward compatible and will negotiate the highest possible speed when connecting to an ISP.

Sound Blaster PCI128 uses the latest music synthesis technology to play many notes simultaneously,creating a new dimension for musical and multimedia applications. The SoundBlaster PCI supports the now famous Microsoft DirectSound 3D API, hell it even has full 4 speaker support. The 3D routines on the PCI 128 aren't the most convincing I've heard, especially when compared to an Aureal based board. The 3D routines are somewhat pale and unconvincing, even though the separation of channels is present to some extent.
The PCI 128 also supports Creative's own Enviromental Audio (EAX).

It's all about bandwidth. 1394 Driver Support
Below is the information for customers looking for 1394 Open Host Controller (OHCI) drivers for their LSI 1394 OHCI devices (i.e., FW323).
The drivers are supplied by both Microsoft* and Apple† and are included in the standard release of the operating system (i.e., Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP and Mac OS). 1394 PCI add-in cards which contain the LSI OHCI devices are plug and play. Simply install your 1394 PCI add-in card as per the board manufacturers instructions. The OS should detect its presence and load the appropriate drivers automatically.
