Item Descripition

This wonderful hexigon shaped cane sewing basket comes to you in lovely condtion, having no clip at the front and a tiny piece of cane broken on the top lid...nothing life threatening nor noticable. It measures 32cm in diameter and stands 17cm high.

All the treasures are still inside which include lovely VINTAGE Ric racs, Fringed trims, Ribbons, Laces, lace appliques, needles, belt buckles, zips and other quite unsual treasures. Just like a big lucky dip really!!!

This would make an excellent display when no in use.

Quite often I just can't pass up the opportunity to bring home lots of time worn pieces which results in having more than what I need. I believe that my home shows off my personality and that reveils this person that lives for the life of yesteryear...when my grandma was a young lady, especially here at home here in my kitchen.

So when I can, I get great pleasure in sharing my treasures with you. We try to list our TREASURES on Sunday nights at about '7 ish'. I take a lot of time with my listings and include lots of information and photos... yet if something is not there. Please.. Please.. Please.. email me and ask rather than to just assume. Also please only bid if you are genuine as a lot of time and money is wasted when a sale falls through.

When I am not ebaying, I do have a "real job" and trying to fit everything into a 24hr. day sometimes is impossible. I will always email you when I have received payment and let you know as soon as I have posted. Please respond to emails within 3 days of auctions end. Payment is appreciated within 7 days. Unless PRIOR arrangements have been made.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sometimes you may need to allow at 24hrs for me to reply to emails. Between working a "Real Job," four demanding kids and occasionally a social life I am not always sitting on the computer 24hrs. a day 7 days a week. I like to answer all emails first thing every morning and start at around 5.30am. That's the time of the day when I can actually get on the computer, having to share it with bebo and msn addicted children and a computer addict husband.

HAVING PROBLEMS WITH EMAILS

Generally I email your invoice immediately after auctions end on Sunday evenings.... but occasionally there may be a family get together which restricts me from sending off invoices straight afterwards. If this occurs your invoice will be sent to you first thing Monday morning and should be in your inbox by 7.00am. If you still have not heard from us after that please check that your current email address is correct with E-bay, or check your spam/junk mail folder.

We at Countrydressups like to treat people the same way in which we would like to be treat ourselves. Although we mainly sell on E-bay, we also buy for ourselves, so we understand what it is like to be the customer.

We offer treasures which I have purchased for myself they are vintage and are not new. All pieces are sold showing some signs of wear.....if any. That's the best part about Vintage pieces.....the time worn PATINA, CHARM and Quality which ENHANCES their appearance making them more attractive and sort after. For a lot of us they bring back treasured memories of by-gone times. It is these factors which make them even better then the 'age worned look' replicas which are being produced these days. A genuine vintage treasure is so much more individual and interesting.. You know that you are getting a "PRECIOUS ONE OFF" rather then a mass produced homeware of today.

Items will be packed with care and double boxed if nessessary to ensure their safety. Once a parcel leaves our house and is in the hands of Australia post we do not take responsibility for what happens after that.
