I am delighted to offer for sale a brand new, still unnamed, luxury, bespoke, sailing yacht. It took some 15,000 man-hours to craft this vessel from the best materials available: stunning Australian Jarrah timber, Burmese teak, Corian, leather and stainless steel. This offer represents a unique, once in a life time opportunity to invest in a very special vessel, built to be enjoyed for many decades to come and to be passed onto the next generation. The hull is made of robust balsa/ GRP, hand-laid in the female mould and then triple painted with full Awlgrip system in “Snow white” colour. The deck, cockpit, swimming platform and interior floors are all lined in selected Burmese teak, using the vacuum method of installation. The internal, decorative timbers are all solid Australian Jarrah (Eucalyptus), hand polished and varnished with at least 10 individually hand rubbed layers. This dark reddish colour timber is incredibly hard and durable whilst displaying magnificent grain and texture. The working surfaces are Dupond- Corian; reconstituted marble which is easy to maintain and restore. The galley storage cupboard is also finished in Corian. The drawers are made from Jarrah and are lined in stainless steel, whilst the cutting board is composed of Burmese Teak and African Purple Heart timbers, quite a special finishing touch to what is a spectacular galley unit. The upholstery is cream colour leather in the saloon and beige man-made suede in fore cabin and quarter berths. The main cabin has a false ceiling which is foam insulated from sound and heat. The galley is equipped with the capacious freezer and separate bar fridge located under the navigation table. The chest freezer is remotely, electronically controlled and can be used either as a cooler or freezer. Of course you will find all usual conveniences on board: hot/ cold/ sea water, white & red lighting, electric toilet, gray & black waste tank with electric pumps, shore power, deep discharge 12V batteries. The bathroom has Italian marble mosaic tile floor and Corian bench top. All faucets and shower head are Italian-made and there is also a retractable, concealed shower located in the transom. On the deck you will find only the best quality Lewmar hardware: from the Lewmar -“Delta” self-launching anchor, through all the deck fittings, hatches, winches to Lewmar “Royale” pedestal steering system with St/ steel engine control lever. An electric anchor winch is Muir “Cougar” operated by “up & down” foot switches or remote controlled. The Lewmar steering wheel is the custom, folding type covered with beige hide. The engine is a 30HP Bukh with sail drive and folding propeller. The engine controls are concealed and accessible from the cockpit. The instruments (wind, speed and depth) are Raymarine. The main sail and genoa sheets are led aft and could be controlled by the helmsman; ideal for short handed sailing. The yacht will be supplied with non-overlapping genoa on a furler and the main sail equipped with Lazy Jacks and single line reefs. The yacht is designed for an asymmetric spinnaker to be attached onto the steam fitting on the “clipper” bow; no spinnaker pole is required. The deck bristles with custom-made stainless steel, hand polished fittings; some of these, like steam fitting, are simply works of art. To maintain the clean, uncluttered deck layout the mooring cleats fold down when not in use. The yacht will be supplied with safety equipment (for Category 5) for 6 people, which is the number of people comfortably accommodated overnight on board. For additional safety the spare anchor and anchor rode are stored in a special compartment under the port quarter berth. The yacht will be surveyed, fully insured and trial-sailed/ tested prior to the delivery. Delivery is Melbourne Port. GST is included in price. Please allow 8 (eight ) weeks for mast stepping, sea trials and registration.
I will leave you to choose the name for the yacht… Enjoy!
