Ladies Travelling Dressing Table
This is a heavy piece made, I presume of teak.
These dressing tables were made for the wives of commissioned officers in India.
They were transported around the country for ladies, when their hubands were on Duty in the provinces.
These items are related to the Davenport and campagne desks.
One would presume this dressing table is that of a lower ranking officer, as it is not as ornate as some.
Height: 770mm, Width 530mm, Depth 450mm.
