Laminex & Chrome Kitchen Table & 6 Chairs Aristoc. 60's

I bought this 1960's kitchen table and chairs from a deceased estate recently. Both the chairs and the table are an original match. The same 'aristoc' nameplate is on each of the chairs and under the table. The table is in amazingly good condition. The laminex is the best I have seen for a table of this vintage and type. I can't say the same for the chairs. They are all perfect structurally, the chrome is only a little pitted here and there, I don't think they need re-plating at all, but for some who are really fussy, they could be re-plated. I have 'cheated' a little in a couple of places, on a couple of chairs, where the rust was showing with chrome mettalic paint. This is very minimal. But the covers have been worn to death. Definitely in need of re-covering! The backs are OK but the seats are bad. The chrome on the table is in very good condition. Again slight pitting. The colour of the laminex on the table is a cherry red, not the bright red that my pictures are showing. The fifth picture, of the table with only one chair, is the best example of the colouring of the top of the table. The table measures 152cm x 91cm.
