Land Rover Tribute LRX Freelander Range Rover New Book

The original Land Rover was unveiled at the Amsterdam Motorshow in 1948. No less than 60 years later, the modern Defender is instantly recognisable as its descendant. With the Range Rover, Discovery, Freelander and Range Rover Sport now in the line-up, Land Rover today is a premium brand.

This beautifully produced book tells the story of Land Rover using stunning colour images from the archive of photographer and Land Rover enthusiast, Nick Dimbleby. Nick has photographed Land Rovers in action from Iceland to Australia and all points in between. Adventures and expeditions such as the Camel Trophy and the Land Rover G4 Challenge are featured, and there is also a fascinating behind-the- scenes look at Land Rover’s Solihull and Halewood production lines.

Land Rover: 60 Years of Adventure also charts the history of Land Rover from early Series vehicles to the latest Defenders, with images of concours examples as well as battle-scarred workhorses. The book also examines the ever-popular Range Rover, from the revolutionary 1970 model to the very latest supercharged versions and Range Rover Sport, and there are chapters about the Discovery and Freelander, including unique test and development images.
