This large quantity of Meccano appears to me, after some research, to be from the period 1950 to mid 1960. it is predominantly green and black plain lengths with red square sections and lots of gears and stuff, including a windup motor(no key), large ball bearing plate, number of wheels of different types, including some extra tyres but these are very stiff and mishapen, bits of chain, screws, gears and lots of other stuff. they've been stored in the attic and belonged to a long gone family member who liked Meccano. He left a list of some of the items and these run to about 314 items so with all the other stuff and not counting screws and such I would guess around 450 significant items. Just couldn't generate the enthusiasm to count them all, here with follows the hand written list
69x 25 hole straight long,53x25 hole angle long,10x19 hole angle,2x15hole angle,22x11hole angle,2x19 hole straight,2x19hole straight double,3x15 hole straight,50x 11 hole straight,3x11 hole curved?(hard to make out the writing),9x25 hole diamond? glider,2x19 hole ditto,21x11hole ditto,4x7hole ditto,10x5hole ditto,13x11 hole box,9x5 hole box,1x5x5 hole box,12x8hole box,5x11x7 plate,7x11x5 plate,7x9x5 plate,4x5x5 plate
And that's where he left it I hope you can get some idea of the other stuff from the pictures.
It's heavy weighing in at about 20KG or 40lbs for those in USA and England so make allowance for shipping cost.
I list the few brochures that were in the box separately
I'd say most of the stuff is in a fair condition with regard to age and the fact it was used by an enthusiast
