Old compressed fibre suitcase of the late Victorian to early Edwardian period. Trade name Hercules which a Google search listed as a Melbourne suitcase manufacturer of that period. Has a removable upper tray. Not in bad condition for a case of that vintage. Has wooden supports which show ancient woodworm in parts. Case has shrunk from wooden supports in places. The lid support straps have been replaced with contemporary style material. No keys but locks work. Handles are OK 920mm long X 420mm deep X 330mmhigh |
