Laura J. Perin has taken the beauty of varigated and/or over-dyed threads (pearl cotton) and used them to make bold and colorful needlework patterns. The Jewel Box pattern is designed for 18 or 24 count canvas and has finished sizes of 11 x 11 (18 count) or 8.25 x 8.25 (24 count).  This designer uses full size color charts and easy to follow instruction to make stitching a breeze.  She has also included ideas and hints for customizing the colors combinations to best suit your taste.  These needlepoint patterns do require the use of stretcher bars.
