Tall fescues are generally slow to germinate.

It can take as long as to 6 weeks to get any sort of coverage.

If conditions are ideal it can germinate in 3 to 4 weeks.

The fine bermuda couch will thrive in the warmer weather & remain dormant in the winter months in southern states of Australia. The tall fescue will stay lush green all year round.

The most important thing when germinating any seed is that is is kept moist at all times.
