Leather Armor - Codpiece

     This auction is for one codpiece. A codpiece is armor for your crotch. This codpiece will NOT protect you from a blow to your genitals. Trust me; my wife made me combat test my codpiece, and I don't want you to share my pain. If you plan to wear this into combat, pad it and wear the proper protection under it.

     Having said that, this codpiece is made from heavy armor-grade 14/15 oz. leather that has been shaped and water-hardened. The edges have been rounded and burnished.

     The codpiece has two belt loops in front and a "g-string" with a loop for your belt in back. I intentionally left the "g-string" long, so there will be no discomfort in wearing this. I can wear mine all day with no discomfort whatsoever.

     This codpiece is dyed mahogany. It is sealed with a high-quality leather lacquer.

This codpiece is perfect for costume wear at Renaissance Faires, and could be used for combat, though I wouldn't recommend it (PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL AND KINGDOM SCA OR LARP RULES ON ARMOR).  They have no padding, but can be easily padded for combat wear. They will make a very unique addition to your garb as they are one of a kind.
