Leather Ever Ready Case Yashica B C D E & Yashicaflex


Fits the Yashica B, C, D and E, and also most Yashicaflex models except the YashicaFlex S which has the meter housing on the left side of the body.  

This very nice brown leather case will also fit other Yashica models but check the knobs and protrusions on your camera body to make sure there are openings in the case for them. All the Yashica 6x6 bodies are basically the same size so the only difference (as regards cases) is the positions of the holes/openings in the case.

It has some marks from use but overall is in 8/10 condition with all stitching and hinges intact and includes leather neckstrap. A quick polish would bring it up beautifully.

The description and condition rating are a truthful observation of the case when listed and it will be delivered in the same condition. CAVEAT EMPTOR. It is not possible for me to guarantee that when used, after one minute or one year, the stitching or hinges may come loose. No-one I am aware of will offer a guarantee on cases that are over 30 years old. As such all cases are sold as-is and no refunds are possible.

It was December 1949 when the  Yashima Seiki Company was formed with an initial investment of just $566 and Yashica started business in Nagano, Japan making electric clock parts. They branched into camera components and by 1953 had changed name to Yashima Optical Industry Company, Ltd. and released their first complete camera, the Yashimaflex, a 6x6cm twin lens reflex. Lenses were bought from the Tomioka Optical Works.
