Lemon Bottlebrush
Callistemon pallidus
(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)
A native of the Great Dividing Range in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and widespread distribution in Tasmania, the Lemon Bottlebrush will tolerate moderate exposure to salt laden air, frosty conditions and some dryness. However, its preference is for damp soils in a sunny position.
Suitable as a garden specimen plant or as a screening plant, it will accept hedging and heavy pruning. Lemon brushes appear in profusion from Spring to Summer complimenting the dense light green foliage and giving quite a display. A plant which grows to 3 metres with a spread of 2 metres if left unpruned.
Offered is a packet of 200 seeds and Grownotes to assist you to cultivate this handsome Callistemon.
