Click on the links above for manuals showing detailed instructions on how you can replace the Wireless card yourself - don't let other electronics stores charge you crazy fees to do something simple!
Most notebooks require you to remove the palmrest and keyboard to get to the wireless card, which requires removing a few screws and lifting the parts off.
If your laptop is not listed, it will not work!
What is MIMO technology?
The multiple-in/multiple-out (MIMO) feature of this wireless card increases trasmit speeds and wireless range when paired with a MIMO-compatible router. An upgrade to the Intel 3945 card, this Intel 4965 card utilizes THREE antennas instead of two to reduce dead zones in your home.
...But it doesn't have Wireless-N technology
Wireless-N will NOT increase your internet speed over Wireless-G.
Wireless-G allows for data transmissions up to 54 Mbps, while cable internet speeds are up to 16 Mbps. Thus, Wireless-G allows for the maximum throughput speed of your internet connection -- there is no need to allow a faster throughput so don't waste your money on Wireless-N!

All wireless cards are shipped in an anti-static bag surrounded by bubble wrap to prevent damage during shipping. Ships from Chapel Hill, NC, within 24 hours of payment.
