Les Paul Custom 2-color Vintage Sunburst Flame top

This auction is for a Used Epiphone Les Paul Custom, serial # U04061409 which I purchased brand new in 2005 from my local Epiphone dealer. This is a Korean made Epiphone, NOT chineese. All The newer Les Pauls made in China that I have seen, do not have as good fit and finish as this one. The fit and finish on this guitar is outstanding! The 2-color Vintage Sunburst Flame top is very beautiful as well! The neck on this guitar is a happy medium between a 50's fat ad 60's slim neck. Very comfortable. This is a heavy guitar though, it's no lightweight. HUGE sustain though! I replaced the original Bridge pickup with an Epiphone "Hot" Les Paul bridge pickup with 14.2k ohms! This guitar Rips! The bridge pickup is an "open coil" design, (ala-Jimmy Page) and the neck is a gold plated 57 Epiphone. The Tone and Volume pots are very smooth and linear and work great and they are not "scratchy" at all. No squealing from the pickups either as they are wax potted. This guitar features high quality Grover gold tuners.

I am selling this guitar because I thought I wanted a Les Paul style guitar, but I find that I am more of a Strat player. That, and I simply have too many guitars. There is absolutly nothing wrong with this guitar whatsoever. It has never had, or ever needed any repairs. Just regular string changes. It has a fresh set of Elixer Nanoweb 10's on it now. There is some minimal finish wear on the gold plating on the bridge and stopbar, and a few very minor belt buckle scuffs on the back. That's it!  It has not been played very often, and I have tried to show in picture 9, that the fret wear is very minimal. The action is nice and low, and this guitar plays like a dream!

This guitar comes with a Gator hard shell Les Paul case, a $100.00 extra value! I will ship this guitar in the case and that will be inside a Cardboard guitar box, and padded as well. FYI, the neck pickup in this guitar is stock. I just desribed it in the description so that you would know what to expect soundwise. The bridge Pickup is not stock however, and is hotter than stock. The two pickups work very well together, for a very balanced sound.
