Swedish Fire-Steel - 'Army'

The Swedish FireSteel was originally designed by Lars Falt, a Swedish Army survival expert. Today it is used my the armies of several different countries and has been approved by the 'INTERNATIONAL SURVIVAL INSTRUCTORS ASSOCIATION' as well as survival experts from all over the world. It's reliability even under COLD, WET and WINDY conditions makes it absolutely indispensable for CAMPING, FISHING, BOATING, HUNTING etc. etc....


Originally developed by the Swedish Defense Department, the FireSteel fire starter lets you start a fire in any weather. Approved by the International Survival Instructors Association.


  • Keep it on your keyring so that you never forget it wherever you travel.
  • Will not ignite in pocket or by casual contact with keys etc.
  • Can be used wet.
  • Generates a spark 3000deg. C. (Much hotter than a match flame).
  • The 'Army' version is usable up to 12,000 times! (That's a a lot of emergency fire lighting!)
