For sale we have a Solid Black Crystal Opal from Lightning Ridge. They are highly sort after due to their rarity and beauty. It is a form of top quality Crystal opal with a darker background which is considered the best type of crystal hands down. Black Crystal is very dark, very bright with all colours, very vivid. If you hold it up to the light you can see through it, but placed in your hand or in fine jewellery you will see nothing but colour. Black Crystal can be valued from $1000 to $7000 per ct depending on Brightness, 'play of colour' and pattern. This stone stands very well.
