These beautiful works of art are then painted in your choice of Gold, Silver, Natural Clear Glaze or Mother-of-Pearl (please note 1x colour choice at checkout) . 
Little Icons uses ONLY Superior Artist Quality Paints in our kits so you can be assured that your finished product will remain looking great in years to come. Don't be fooled by other companies claiming to supply paint with a base coat 'pre-mixed' as this will tarnish and mottle over time. Our kits contain a separate base coat which is applied and left to dry - only then do we recommend you apply our Superior Quality paint. Casting Stone is porous and must always be sealed with Base Coat.

The casting process is quick & easy to do...
Mix the Molding Powder with water
Insert childs hand or foot into the mixture
Once set (60 seconds later...) wriggle your child out of the mold
Mix the Casting Stone with water
Pour into the mold - set - remove - dry - paint - finished!

All products included in your kit are 100% safe, dustless, wiggle friendly & non-toxic.

With your kit you can cast the following...
Newborn - 12 mths = 5 castings (based on 'average' hand/feet sizes)
*12 -24mths = 2 castings
Adult = 1 cast

5x packets of Pre-measured Alginate Molding Powder - clean & easy to use producing highly accurate impressions of your little ones hands & feet. This kit provides enough for you to cast a full set - 2 hands & 2 feet as well as a spare packet for a practice/spare cast.

Super-fine Casting Stone Powder - Extremely strong, very quick drying time, sets to a lovely white which can be sealed and painted or simply finished in a clear glaze. Will not crumble or chalk.

1x Wooden Spatula - for mixing the Ceramic Powder to a lump-free paste

1x Mixing Spoon - for mixing the Molding Powder to a smooth mixture

1x Mixing Cup - for mixing the Ceramic Stone

Fine Sandpaper - to remove any slight surface imperfections before painting

Rough Sandpaper - to smooth the base of your castings enabling easy mounting

1x Super Soft Paintbrush

Base Coat/Sealer - this quick drying base must be applied before your paint to prevent your castings mottling and tarnishing over time. It is impossible to create a 'quality' finish with paint claiming to have the base coat pre-mixed in the paint.

 1x Engravable Name Plaque - in your choice of Gold or Silver - this comes blank for you to arrange engraving of your own special message. It also has a clear protective, removable plastic coating to prevent any sctratches prior to engraving and an adhesive back for easy mounting

FREE Casting Stone Dropper - this is included in all my kits as no casting should be attempted without one. The dropper enables you to reach right into tiny fingertips & toes with your Casting Stone thus preventing these areas being missed.

FREE Re-usable Molding Container - because of the angle that the hand is held in while taking the mold, a container gives a lovely tapered line to the wrist area on your casting rather than the 'chopped-off' look created by using a casting bag.

Being a busy Mum of three, I realise your time is precious so have carefully sourced & included EVERYTHING you will need to create your cast - no need for hunting around the house or making special trips to the shops with a newborn baby!

Most areas are covered by courier service, however if your area is not covered I will Post your order in a Pre-Paid Satchel with Australia Post.
