Living Corals ~ Robin Petron & Rives...Softcover, measures approx 13cm x 18cm. Comes in good used condition, has some creasing on the front covee, has a price written on the first page....

This book explains the complex biology of the madrepores, the builders of the coral reefs which encircle tropical islands and fringe tropical shores.. The classification of both reef forming and other corals are covered, from the West Indies to the Seychelles and from Inonesia to the outer reaches of Polynesia..More than 150 photos, mostly taken underwater, It is hoped that from a more precise understandiing of the corals will come a  greater appreciation of the importance of the dangers which threaten them...
