Lorna refers, in ochre, to Goolarbaal, the dreamtime snake that appears, in rainbow loops, to rise from the waters of Laguwan, (Chamberlain River)

As well as being a harbinger of big rain, the magic snake has the ability to watch after the welfare of Lorna and family as they hunt and fish in the area.
