Please note that I had the harness professionally modified to be a backpack instead of a sling bag (See photo no. 3). I found that the weight of the bag is more balanced especially when I go on a long walk with full kit inside the bag. Occasionally, I still use 1 side of the harness in a similar style to the original sling bag.
