Memorabilia from the Memory Lane Collection - Lucy Ball's privately owned earrings.

These earrings were donated by Lucille Ball in the 1980's to Joe Franklins Memory Lane Collection of Memorabilia and Nostalgia, to which she was so generous ovre the years of her friendship with Mr. Franklin.

Joe Franklin, known as the King of Nosstalgia and answers to "The Wizard of Was". 

It has been written that he invented the TV talk show before many of his colleagues learned to talk. The Joe Franklin show ran on tv for 40 consecutive years and during the World Record run Woody Allen, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Streisand, Bill Cosby, Julia Roberts and Liza Minelli were but a few of the worlds greatest entertainment talents who got their very first exposure on The Joe Franklin Show. Franklins loveable personality prompted comedian Billy Crystal to imitate him on NBC's Saturday Night Live fo four years - the ultimate form of flattery.

These earrings, which previously belonged to and were worn by the legendary Queen of Comedy - Lucille Ball  - are absolutely EXQUISITE!

With a sparkling central green stone, surrounded by numerous diamond-like stones - these screw-back, 1950's, gold-tone earrings are still in very good condition.

Accompanied by a letter from Joe Franklin, and a few articles, this museum quality collection will be the pride of your Lucy heirlooms!
