This is a vintage 1960's Ralph Kester "CHING-RING" metal drum set tambourine. This is an original patent-pending version, made by Ralph Kester. This tambourine is made out of nickel-plated steel, and it measures 7-1/2" in diameter. All of the original nickel plated tambourine jingles are intact, and the entire assembly shows very little handling wear. There is some light surface rusting, but the overall appearance is very good. These tambourines were made famous by John Bonham, he used them extensively throughout his career with the Led Zeppelin band . don't miss this one . this sale is for a ching ring tambourine only , other items in photo's not included in sale.
