The originator of the Miami bass sound returns with LUKE'S FREAK FEST 2000, a pulsating, high-pressure album with plenty of potential for floorboard shaking. This time out Luke has guest spots from everyone from Goodie Mob ("Dirty Bottom"), and 95 South ("What We Like"), to Tear Da Club Up Thugs ("Slob On My Nob"), and Krayzie Bone ("Ain't Spending Nothing").
The 17 full-length tracks here also include some humor-filled skits; check out the Big Pun, Cuban Linx and Armageddon on "Slippery When Wet," and 69 Boyz on "Strokin'." Luke takes the mic on numerous tracks, joining his guest stars for a memorable set of songs. One of Luke's strongest albums ever, LUKE'S FREAK FEST 2000 also includes other noteworthy tracks such as "Get Rowdy," "Club Rats," and "Tear It Up."

6 out of 10 - ...a good-natured giddiness runs through this soundtrack....Well-wishers Big Pun, Cuban Linx, and Goodie Mob swing by with their freshest gynecological verses....the album has an off-the-hook, clothing optional momentum rarely felt above Jacksonville...
