M-Z3R0 - circuit bent yamaha dd8 drum machine (017)

Circuit bent yamaha dd-8 drum machine. Fitted with 16 point glitch bay, extreme pitch, dual mode distortion circuit and 8 step destruction sequencer with 2 to 8 step selection and run/stop switch.

Freed from it's preset patterns with an 8 step sequencer the dd8 'destruction sequencer' allows you to create your own user patterns to twist up with the 16 point glitch matrix and dual mode distortion circuit.  The sequencer can be set to 2 to 8 steps. The machine can also be used as a noise/drone oscillator when the sequencer tempo is turned right up.

The distortion circuit has two modes of operation. One applies dirty fuzz to the sounds and the second provides a self oscillating feedback drive which can be altered from the panel control. Good for idm, industrial and power electronics style noise and rhythms.

All of the features combined allow for a massive range of sounds.

The unit is in good condition with some scuffs and marks on the pads and casing

The internal speaker has been removed.

It will function as the manufacturer intended when all of the controlls are switched off.

Runs on 6 AA cells or 9-12 volt adapter

It will be shipped with an adapter, instructions for the patchbay and controls and a full set of patch leads.
