The MAC Pigment is a highly concentrated loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin.
Pigment does not streak or cake, is easy to blend and long-lasting.

Please note: Pigments weight vary based on the density of product.
Containers can appear to be less than full due to settling of the product.

Ways to tell if your MAC PIGMENT is authentic.

THE AUTHENTIC MAC PIGMENT BOX:

1. The box has a black sticker on the lid stating the colour of the pigment. This sticker is always found at the back of the box lid on the right hand side. Fake Mac boxes do not have this sticker.

2. The barcode/product code is written on a sticker on the bottom of the box. Fake MAC boxes have the barcode numbers written directly onto the box.
3. On the back of the boxes where it says "POUDRE ECLAT DE COULEUR" there is an inflection above the letter E in the word ECLAT. An inflection is an apostrophe like this éclat. Fake Macs do not have the inflection above the E.

THE AUTHENTIC MAC JAR
1. There is the colour name of the pigment and serial number (like A17) on the bottom of the jar - this label is either silver or clear. Fake Mac jars either do not have this label or if they do, the only thing that will be on it is a number like 72 - there will be no letter.
2. The bottom of the jar is relatively thin. Fake Mac jars have a thick bottom to them.
3. The plastic seal lid under the jar's black cap - once the plastic lid has been removed, the name "Coltainer III" is quite evidently etched onto the plastic seal lid and a product number imprinted onto the lid. Fake Macs do not have this.
4. Once the plastic seal lid has been removed the pigment is visible. Some Fake Macs, once the black cap is removed have an funnel or "pouring spout".
5. The pigment itself once applied, adheres to the skin. Fake pigments rub off easily leaving no or little colour behind.
